We offer advanced solutions to measure and manage traffic flows, enabling travelers, cities, road authorities, parking operators, and logistics companies worldwide to take control of their mobility processes.

To keep up with the evolution towards Total Traffic Management, Be-Mobile is looking for a talented Software Engineer with the following responsibilities:

• Primarily focus on backend and platform development

• Research, develop, implement, unit-test, and maintain new software code for our Smart Mobility Solutions, with a strong focus on architecture and system design

• Leverage modern AI-assisted coding tools to support or accelerate implementation, while retaining ownership of technical decisions

• Discuss ideas and solutions with co-workers

• Work closely with Project and Product Managers to deliver according to schedule

• Work independently while also collaborating in an agile team during streamlined development phases

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current and new technologies, including emerging AI innovations related to coding.

PROFILE

You are familiar with cutting-edge technologies and stay up to date with the latest trends in backend. You are confident, eager to learn new technologies, and interested in how AI can assist developers in their daily work .

MUST HAVES

• Hands-on experience with a backend language such as Java, Python, Scala, or C++

• We use Go throughout our entire stack; experience is a plus but not required

• Experience building APIs and backend services in a micro-service architecture

• Experience with Git, linting, and continuous integration

• Knowledge of REST, WebSockets, gRPC, and GraphQL is a plus

• Interest in working with technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, Redis, and Kafka

• Fluency in Dutch and English

• Openness to using AI-assisted coding tools and staying up to date with the latest AI innovations in software development.
