The Business Process Technologies team plays a key role in this, as it is responsible for the implementation and development of the IT/OT system landscape, as well as the development of standards and suitable software solutions for the shopfloor or for the communication of production resources to the products. Your task as an MES Application Engineer is to develop functions within the MES in projects or to configure them during roll-out.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Support and further development of the MES application in the CoE Active Medical Devices

• Commissioning and technical implementation of process solutions in MES in collaboration with our template team and the supplier Critical Manufacturing

• Description of requirements and tracking with our supplier

• Support and installation of the application on a container infrastructure

• Configuration and implementation of processes in MES and SAP, as well as the creation of suitable master data

• Creation, execution, and approval of acceptance tests as well as acceptance and monitoring of technical implementations, including monitoring and support during ramp-up

• Preparation, presentation, and explanation of new process concepts at user and management levels

• Support in evaluating and selecting system suppliers with a focus on future-oriented development of the digital system landscape

• Risk-based analysis and evaluation of existing business and production processes

Professional competencies:

• Successfully completed studies in engineering, computer science, business informatics, or currently studying with professional experience in production-related IT

• Knowledge in MES, SAP, PowerBI, Azure DevOps is desirable

• Knowledge as a Windows system administrator is desirable

• Knowledge of OPC-UA/DA interfaces is desirable

• Knowledge in virtual machine systems and SQL databases 2019 and 2016 is desirable
