For the Center of Excellence Infusion & Pain Therapy (CoE IPT) of the Hospital Care division, we are looking for a Senior Expert (m/f/d) in Manufacturing Digitalization for non-active medical devices at the Melsungen site as soon as possible.

The "Manufacturing Digitalization" team is responsible for providing system and process solutions for production digitalization for non-active medical devices as part of the company's "Next Decade" strategy and in conjunction with the global Smart Manufacturing Organization. We operate internationally and support the CoE IPT production sites worldwide in the implementation and efficient use of these solutions.

Responsibilities:

• You analyze and assess production sites regarding their digital maturity and associated optimization potentials
• You develop and align digitalization strategies and roadmaps in accordance with the CoE strategy
• You plan and coordinate production digitalization activities in line with the CoE strategy
• You implement and harmonize production digitalization solutions in collaboration with the production sites
• You lead CoE-related sub-projects within the corporation's digitalization programs, as well as build and manage the supporting expert network
• Additionally, you support harmonization and standardization activities at the corporate level and ensure alignment with the CoE strategy

Professional Competencies:

• You have successfully completed a bachelor's degree in computer science, electrical engineering, production engineering, or possess a comparable qualification
• You have gained several years of professional experience in logistical or IT process design and process optimization
• You have experience in implementing digitalization projects in production, such as the introduction of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
• You possess IT affinity and solid knowledge in SAP PP, SAP MM, and SAP PM
• Operational production experience is an advantage, as well as experience in integrating PLC/SCADA-based automation systems
• Knowledge in designing and using analysis tools (e.g., Celonis, PowerBI, Microsoft Reporting Services) is also welcome
• Very good German and English skills complete your profile
