Within the Global Strategic Projects department of the Center of Excellence Pharmaceuticals in the Hospital Care division, we are looking for a (Senior) Project Manager (f/m/d) at our Melsungen site as soon as possible.

The Global Strategic Projects department is responsible for implementing complex portfolio, manufacturing, and digitalization projects across global pharmaceutical production sites.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• You implement integrated digital end-to-end solutions to establish data-driven business processes.
• You develop and follow up on digitalization roadmaps with a focus on R&D, Global Regulatory Affairs, and Quality Management.
• You lead strategic software projects within a global matrix organization in close collaboration with Digital Process Development (DPD).
• You initiate projects and create schedules including resource requirements and budgets.
• You manage ongoing risk, stakeholder, and change processes.
• You monitor project progress, assess deviations, and initiate actions and escalations to relevant committees.
• You report to supervisors, sponsors, and relevant project governance bodies (CoE Pharma Steering Committee, Project Management Board).
• You are also responsible for building a project/program team structure and coordinating sub-project managers and project staff (internal and external).

Professional Qualifications:

• You hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a comparable field.
• You have several years of experience managing IT or digitalization projects in an industrial setting and in digitalizing business processes.
• You possess solid methodological knowledge in project management and are proficient in MS Project.
• You are fluent in German and English; additional language skills are a plus.
• You are willing to travel internationally as part of complex project implementations.
