Your mission & challenges:
As a Head or Team Leader in Logistics, you are responsible for the efficient management and optimization of all logistics processes. You lead your team competently and play a key role in ensuring smooth operations for the movement of goods. With your organizational skills and understanding of warehouse and logistics processes, you ensure that all goods are processed on time and accurately.
- Disciplinary and professional leadership of the logistics team, including workforce planning and staff development
- Responsible for conducting inventory checks, ensuring accurate stock management, and adherence to quality standards and safety regulations
- Setting up and maintaining booking and transaction processes in the ERP system
- Close collaboration with purchasing, production, and sales to ensure smooth operational processes
- Responsibility for all internal material flows – from goods receipt to dispatch
- Participation in the development and optimization of packaging and handling concepts
- Involvement in the automation of logistics as part of our Smart Factory initiatives
- Implementation of new logistics strategies and technologies to increase efficiency
What we can look forward to:
- Completed degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in logistics within an industrial company
- At least 3 years of leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Solid knowledge and hands-on experience with ERP systems
- Experience in customs clearance and handling international shipping processes
- Strong analytical skills and pronounced problem-solving abilities
- Business-fluent German and English skills
