We are looking for a Key Account Manager Osteoporosis for the Netherlands (region North - Groningen, Friesland, Noord Holland, Drente, Overijssel), who is passionate about improving patient outcomes, eager to build strong, lasting relationships, and brings an innovative mindset to join our Osteoporosis team. You can be based in either of the outlined Provinces of Northern Netherlands.

About the role

As a Healthcare Professional Partner (HCPP) Osteoporosis for the northern part of the Netherlands you will bring value to patients with UCB’s therapeutic options in your assigned territories. You’ll do this by building strong collaborative relationships, targeting key HCPs, and implementing optimal omnichannel solutions. You will work closely with the cross functional team, and key external stakeholders to identify the right patient solutions within the field of Osteoporosis. You will also collaborate with internal stakeholders to enable Health Care Professionals to identify the best solutions for patients.

Who you will work with

In this field-based role, you will act as the first point of contact for specialized HCPs (rheumatologists, endocrinologists, geriatricians, orthopedists, physician assistants, nurse specialists, nurses, etc.) across your territory, in close collaboration with the MSL. And you work with the wider commercial organization to develop and execute commercial strategies based on local nuances.

What will you do

  • Define and execute an impactful tactical plan within your territory of responsibility.
  • Identify and analyze therapeutic area opportunities and make proposals for appropriate improvements.
  • Create and maintain partnerships and novel ways of interacting with stakeholders to positively impact patient access and outcomes.
  • Establish strong business relationships with HCPs and other relevant stakeholders within your assigned territory.
  • Match UCB therapeutic options to targeted HCPs’ patient populations by deploying a tailored approach (communication and tools).
  • Establish multi-channel stakeholder communication by tailoring omni-channel tools to impact HCPs based on individual preferences.

Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience, and skills:

  • Bachelor’s, Master’s, Ph.D., or Medical Degree (M.D.)
  • Experience in a similar role in Pharma with strong account management and relationship-building skills with digital customer engagement.
  • Relevant experience within the pharmaceutical industry in the Immunology/ Bone/ Endocrinology therapeutic area is a plus.
  • Strategic thinking, problem-solving ability, customer-focus, and result-driven mindset.
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and proven cross-functional project teamwork.
  • Languages: Fluent in Dutch and English (speaking/writing).
  • Living in the operating area – North of the Netherlands - Groningen/Friesland/Drente/Overijssel/Noord Holland
