Apprenticeship as a Technical Product Designer (m/f/d)

Every year at our Munich location, we are looking for trainees for vocational training as a Technical Product Designer (m/f/d).
As a Technical Product Designer, you are involved from the first design sketch right through to the start of production . The focus is on the automotive sector; you support development, shape/design creation and the solving of complex technical problems.

During your training you will become familiar with the following tasks:

• Designing vehicle parts using a 3D CAD system
• Acquiring knowledge in materials engineering, manufacturing, assembly and joining processes
• Gaining insight into our production facilities, injection moulding and CFK (carbon) component production
• Working with CAD PDM / SAP programs
• Preparing technical documents and presentations

What should you bring with you?

• Successful completion of secondary school (or higher)
• Good command of English (additional language skills are an advantage, e.g. Polish)
• Analytical thinking and an independent way of working
• Enthusiasm for vehicles on two and four wheels
• Good spatial awareness
• Understanding of technical interrelationships
• Communication skills, careful and reliable way of working
• Ability to work in a team and handle conflict
• MS Office skills

Duration of training: 3.5 years

Further training opportunities: Bachelor’s degree, certified technician
