We are looking for experienced Automation Engineer (automotive) to join our team in based out of our Kochi location with hybrid work options. If you’re passionate about joining a growing and dynamic team with a company with a positive culture and team spirit, we’d love to connect with you!
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Python or CAPL.
Create reusable libraries for test automation in the chosen technology.
Implement automated test cases using Python frameworks (e.g., dSPACE AutomationDesk, EXAM) or CAPL scripts/VTestStudio.
Review software requirements in tools like DOORS or Codebeamer and prepare test cases.
Work closely with our European engineering team and perform testing through remote machines.
Execute automated tests, perform log analysis and analyze results.
Collaborate closely with the software development team to raise software issues and assist in troubleshooting.
Research and evaluate new tools and technologies for test automation.
Requirements
2–4 years of experience in automotive software testing and test automation experience.
Strong experience in Python programming or CAPL scripting for CAN/LIN bus automation.
Good experience with common automotive tools like dSPACE AutomationDesk, EXAM and CAPL.
Hands-on experience in test case automation or testing, preferably in the automotive sector.
Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Git (GitLab/GitHub/Bitbucket).
Understanding of Agile processes.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
