On behalf of our client, a globally operating consulting firm specializing in digital innovation, we are currently filling the following position:
AZURE CLOUD ARCHITECT (M/W/D) DEFENCE
YOUR TASKS
- Design and conceptualization of modern cloud architectures with a focus on Microsoft Azure
- Integration of existing IT landscapes into cloud-based solutions, taking into account security and compliance requirements in defence environments
- Support the migration and transformation of complex infrastructures to the Azure Cloud
- Close collaboration with DevSecOps and development teams to automate and optimize cloud workloads
- Create and review architecture documentation and present technical concepts to stakeholders
- Leverage basic Python scripting for automation and data analysis tasks
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing cloud solutions with Microsoft Azure
- Confident working with cloud-native services, especially IaaS, PaaS, Networking, IAM, Monitoring, and Security features in Azure
- Basic knowledge of AWS is a plus
- Working knowledge of Python: ability to read, understand, and create simple automation scripts
- Ideally: experience in high-security environments or interest in topics like classified information protection, NATO projects, or defence systems
- Citizenship of a NATO member state is required
- German language skills are desirable, but not mandatory
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken (mandatory)
