Your Role
As Capital Markets counsel, you will be the designated legal partner for our Capital Markets and Investor Relations teams. Your primary focus will be advising on a wide variety of capital markets and structured finance, primarily to help fund our rapidly growing vehicle fleet and support FINN on its strategy to achieve diversification across various funding channels. Together with the wider team, you will work closely with investors, external counsels and other stakeholders, ensuring smooth execution of financing transactions. This is a high-impact role reporting offering the opportunity to shape FINN’s funding strategy in a dynamic, fast-growing environment.

Responsibilities
- Serve as the dedicated legal resource for FINN’s Capital Markets (debt) and Investor Relations team (equity).
- Advise on, draft, review, and negotiate financing transactions, with a strong focus on asset-backed financing and corporate debt transactions.
- Manage legal negotiations with a variety of investors (including banks, credit funds, insurance companies, pension funds) to ensure efficient collaboration and successful execution of transactions.
- Proactively identify risks in financing structures and provide pragmatic solutions to enable business growth.
- Provide strategic input into the overall capital markets strategy.
- Ability to also assist on a wider variety of corporate legal matters.
Your Profile
- Fully qualified lawyer (Volljurist) with admission to practice law in a relevant jurisdiction
- 8+ years of professional experience in a top-tier law firm and/or in-house role in financial services
- Strong experience in capital markets & structured finance transactions across a variety of funding channels (especially securitisation), ideally with experience in the automotive asset class
- Familiar with German law and relevant EU legislation (e.g., on securitizations)
- Business-minded with a pragmatic approach and the ability to balance legal risk with commercial goals
- Team player with high self-motivation and a structured, solution-oriented approach to work
- Hands-on and execution-oriented, comfortable handling both strategic and day-to-day legal tasks
- Ideally, experience in a fast-paced growth/start-up environment
- Ability to quickly get up to speed with new and complex topics
