Would you like to be part of the BERGSON GALLERY team, which will open in the Bergson Kunstkraftwerk in Munich in September 2025? The Bergson Kunstkraftwerk offers a firework of art, culture, culinary delights and hundreds of analog, hybrid and digital event formats per year on a total area of 20,000 m². In September 2025, we will open our own BERGSON GALLERY in the adjoining new building on approx. 700 m² of exhibition space, which - in addition to our existing cooperation with the KÖNIG Galerie in den Silos - will be a local and international hub for contemporary art.

Through alternating cooperation partners and in interaction with institutional guests, we want to replace the classic gallery model with new, hybrid exhibition and sales formats.
For our BERGSON GALLERY team we are looking for September or October 2025 (or earlier if necessary)
Compulsory interns, interns, working students or temporary staff (m/f/d) in the field of art education and exhibition management at BERGSON GALLERY
- Friendly greeting of visitors and competent, enthusiastic explanation of the exhibited works
- One-hour gallery tours at regular times on Saturdays and Sundays as well as private tours at other times during the week or at the weekend
- Unobtrusive generation of buying interest and active contact with our core team
- Discreet, confident supervision of the exhibits
- Registration activities: Entering artist and artwork data into our gallery management system, posting to your own gallery website and Artsy
- Providing partly already produced photo and text material for marketing purposes as well as active participation in the preparation of social media contributions
- A current or completed degree in art history, applied art, art education or a comparable subject
- The willingness and ability to regularly work at least one day at the weekend
- An affinity for fine art and art history
- Open-mindedness and enjoyment of communicating with customers, preferably combined with initial experience
- Agility, independence and diligence paired with the ability to work in a team and flexibility
- Very good verbal communication skills in German (written and oral), preferably also in English
- The fabulous opportunity to expand your initial experience in art education, sales or exhibition management
- Be part of an open-minded, enthusiastic team that tries to make the impossible possible
- Competent training in a wide range of tasks
- Good accessibility by public transport / MVG
