YOUR TASKS

• You design, develop, and implement innovative, data-driven products and solutions using machine learning techniques
• You are responsible for the entire model development process, from exploratory data analysis and feature engineering to the selection and training of suitable algorithms and the evaluation and validation of models
• You work throughout the entire life cycle of ML models on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and accompany the transfer of your developed ML models into production
• You work closely and proactively with our business stakeholders to identify and evaluate potential and implement concrete solutions
• You are responsible for the continuous monitoring and performance optimization of existing ML systems to ensure their long-term relevance and impact
• You bring new ideas to the table by evaluating relevant technologies and methods and actively sharing your knowledge with the team.
  

YOUR PROFILE

• You have relevant professional experience in model development, design, and operationalization of data-driven products and machine learning solutions
• You demonstrate strong proficiency in Python and SQL, especially in the areas of data analysis, feature engineering, and ML model development
• You have gained initial practical experience with GCP services (such as BigQuery, Vertex AI, Cloud Storage, etc.) or comparable experience with another cloud provider
• You possess a deep understanding and practical experience in managing ML models throughout their entire lifecycle - from hypothesis formation and experimentation to continuous performance optimization
• You are characterized by strong analytical skills, a structured approach to work, and a proactive approach to solving complex problems
• Very good communication skills and fluency in English and ideally German round off your profile
