These are your tasks

• Enthusiasm for technology and the motivation to support a wide range of services on over 3,000 server systems in multiple data centers as part of a dedicated team.
• Use of modern communication and task management tools to ensure smooth collaboration both in the office and remotely.
• The opportunity to be an important part of a large, dynamic IT landscape – with the freedom to work with different technologies or to specialize in a specific area.
• Responsibility for the productive use of Kubernetes: Deployment, management, and optimization of containerized applications to increase the efficiency and scalability of our IT infrastructure.
• Work closely with development teams to roll out applications accurately and efficiently, ensuring the overall success of our operations.
• A service-oriented mindset that allows you to master the challenges of a modern IT landscape and drive innovation with the latest technologies.

This is what you bring with you

• A completed degree, apprenticeship or internship with an IT focus (e.g. computer science, IT specialist for system integration or application development), or a comparable qualification that underlines your expertise.
• Enjoyment of working in a collegial team as well as enthusiasm for joint design and cohesion.
• Confident handling of Linux-based operating systems and sound practical knowledge in this area.
• Practical experience with at least three of the following technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, Jenkins, SaltStack, Python, Git, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Prometheus or Artifactory.
• Analytical thinking and the motivation to continuously learn new technologies and actively shape innovations.
• Enthusiasm for expanding and optimizing a highly automated infrastructure to continuously increase efficiency and performance.
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
