Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Marketing Operations Director to lead and scale our global marketing operations function across: Marketing Automation, Marketing Technology, Lead Management and In-Product Marketing Operations. This role is responsible for driving the execution of scalable, data-driven marketing strategies, ensuring seamless MarTech integration, and delivering personalized user experiences across the customer lifecycle.
In this role, you will drive operational excellence across Marketo and Salesforce, manage the end-to-end lead lifecycle including scoring and nurturing, and lead the global technical strategy for in-product user communications. You'll also play a key leadership role in evolving our Revenue Contribution Model, enabling omnichannel campaigns, and building the infrastructure for scalable, data-driven marketing.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned marketing operations leader with a deep understanding of B2B SaaS marketing, enterprise MarTech stacks, and managing high-performing, cross-functional global teams. We’re looking for a candidate who’s both strategically developing our MarTech stack and processes as well as technical enough to control the details of our operations.
As part of this role you will:
- Own and scale the global marketing operations roadmap, focusing on automation, efficiency, and measurable impact.
- Lead and mentor global teams across Marketing Automation, Marketing Operations Systems & Strategy, and In-Product Marketing Operations.
- Drive cross-functional alignment with Marketing, Sales, Product, and IT to ensure execution consistency and data integrity.
- Oversee the global Marketo instance and integration with Salesforce CRM, including campaign architecture, lead management, and data sync.
- Design and optimize omnichannel engagement strategies in partnership with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams.
- Collaborate with analytics and data teams to build attribution models and track performance across the buyer journey.
- Lead the execution and strategy for in-product user communications, including onboarding, feature adoption, and dynamic messaging.
- Support MarTech strategy through system integrations, tool evaluations, and migration initiatives.
- Proven leadership managing global marketing operations teams and strategic programs
- Strong background and proven track record in SaaS and / or Product-led-growth (PLG) businesses
- Expertise in Marketo, Salesforce CRM, DemandBase and related MarTech ecosystems
- Strong understanding of lead lifecycle management, attribution modeling, and marketing performance metrics
- Ability to navigate technical conversations and collaborate with engineering, product, and analytics teams
- Exceptional communication, project management, and organizational skills
- Experience building scalable processes and documentation across global organizations
- Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into actionable insights
Requirements
• 10+ years in Marketing Operations or Revenue Operations roles, with at least 3 years in a people leadership capacity
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Information Systems, or related field
• Hands-on experience managing global marketing automation instances, ABM technology and CRM integrations (experience in Marketo, DemandBase and Salesforce CRM a plus)
• Experience with in-product marketing tools and engagement strategies
• Experience supporting enterprise B2B Account Based Marketing in a SaaS or technology environment is a plus
• Prior involvement in large-scale CRM or MarTech migrations highly desirable
• Experience working across time zones and managing remote teams is a plus
