"ExamAllocation" is a tool internally developed in the Department of Mathematics to automate the allocation of staff members for exam supervisions and exam grading. We are looking for a student assistant to continue the development of the tool.
Our goal is to use the ExamAllocation tool in production as soon as possible.
WHAT WE OFFER
- first-hand experience in software development and optimization
- bring your knowledge into practice
- learn new skills that will help you in the future
- student position for 8-9hrs/week (exact working time is negotiable) for the duration of the winter semester 2025/26 (can potentially be extended)flexible working hours
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- proficieny in Python
- experience in working with SQL databases
- knowledge of FastAPI (or some other Python web framework, e.g., Flask, Django) and SQLAlchemy (or some other Python ORM system)
- basic experience with Git
- ability to work independently
- good communication skills
- bonus: experience in integer programming and MIP solvers and/or Angular or related frameworks is a plus
