Introduction

GlobalFoundries Munich Field Application Engineering (FAE) team, part of GlobalFoundries EMEA FAE team is looking for a new member. FAE is working closely with Account Manager (AM) and other teams, to find new opportunities with our customers, carrying out successful evaluations leading to DesignWINs. FAE is providing support during the Design-In phase to ensure a successful first time-right New Product Implementation (NPI).

Your job

• Cultivates long-term, strategic partnerships with customers to generate growing demand for our differentiated solutions

• Partners with Application Engineering (AE) and customer in the field to problem solve and develop solutions

• Assists AE, AM and customer on the organization's semiconductor products throughout the development cycle to ensure successful completion of the application

• Work with Fabs and key stakeholders on a flawless TapeOut preparation and execution

• Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs

• Work and collaborate on other projects and/or assignments as needed

• Train and support customers in using GF self-service online systems

Required Qualifications  

• Bachelor’s / Master's Degree in Electronics / Electrical Engineering

• Program management skills and experience are highly desirable

• Excellent communication skills and strong team aptitude

• Excellent English language skill

• Excellent technical problem solving skills

• Self-motivated, resourceful, well organized and exhibits attention to detail

• Customer facing and Technical Sales experience

• Experience in Semiconductors (Technology or Design)

• Exposure and competence in design environment/ enablement flows and tools is an advantage

• Dedication to excellent customer service and ambition to execute tasks without error
