YOUR TASKS
- Coordinating the architecture and development process of telematic control units (TCU) with focus on Vehicle Communication over the whole product life cycleManaging the test and validation program, performing defect analysis, prioritization, reporting and escalation to ensure functionality and quality in time
- Support in problem solving and debugging for target guidence to achive maturity grades, system stability and performance
- Alignment of the requirements, architecture and implementation concepts with all stakeholders with the car manufacturer as well as the tier 1 supplier developing the TCU
- Solving technical problems with suppliers/architects/SW developers
- Lead development project meetings and reporting for domain.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- A degree with focus on embedded systems, communications engineering or similar
- Experience in the development of electronic control units functions Security, Vehicle Communication, Engineering Interfaces
- In-depth knowledge of vehicle communication, network technologies, and protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet, MOST, Automotive Ethernet, CAN FD)
- Good familiarity in the OSI-Modell (Ethernet, ARP, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
- Strong linux expertise in the kernel networking stack (interface layer, network devices, netfilter, iptables, nftables)
- Developing and debugging user-space and middleware components under Linux (e.g. POSIX, systemd, D-Bus)
- Hands-on experience with SOME/IP (incl. Service Discovery) in Linux environments
- Good network security expertise (IPsec, Firewall, TLS)
- Very good team and communication
- Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken
