Fjällräven is looking for an authentic, hands-on, and solution-oriented individual with a strong sales mindset and a passion for flawless retail execution. This role is a sales excellence and retail performance role, ensuring that all Fjällräven Brand Corners deliver outstanding sales results through perfect execution of sales, merchandising, and marketing guidelines.

You will act as the primary field contact and informal leader of the Fjällräven Brand Ambassadors (employed by Globetrotter), ensuring they are trained, informed, motivated, and fully aligned with all Fjällräven execution standards.

This hybrid role includes min. 50% of travel across Germany and 50% office presence in Munich.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

1. Drive retail sales excellence on the shopfloor

  • Ensure every Brand Corner delivers strong sell-through by implementing all sales, merchandising, and marketing guidelines from the Fjällräven Ambassador Handbook.
  • Identify sales opportunities, analyse KPIs, monitor key SKUs, and trigger proactive actions.
  • Ensure the presentation of our core products directly contributes to sales performance and conversion.

2. Ensure flawless execution of all Fjällräven guidelines

  • Oversee store readiness, merchandising standards, and overall brand presentation.
  • Secure that every guideline (sales, VM, marketing) is implemented exactly as intended.
  • Act as the extended arm of the Merchandise Manager on the shopfloor and work close to the VM- and Marketing-Teams.

3. Safeguard stock availability & shelf performance

  • Check replenishment levels and ensure optimal availability of key products in the stores.
  • Validate shelf health and execution quality during every store visit.
  • Make sure seasonal priorities, hero styles, and commercial stories are consistently visible.

4. Lead & develop Fjällräven Brand Ambassadors (informally)

  • Serve as the main field contact, coach, and motivator for all Brand Ambassadors.
  • Provide structured guidance, feedback, and direction — based on the Ambassador Handbook.
  • Ensure Brand Ambassadors receive weekly updates, tasks, and priorities.
  • Host bi-annual seasonal Kick-Off Meetings for Head Ambassadors to train them on:
    • Seasonal highlights
    • New products and technologies
    • Sales arguments and storytelling
    • Execution tasks and priorities

5. Execute seasonal trainings & upskilling initiatives

  • Deliver product, brand, and sales trainings focused on practical shopfloor impact.
  • Evaluate Ambassador performance and ensure consistent knowledge levels across all stores.
  • Maintain and improve the Ambassador Handbook to ensure clarity and structure.

6. Implement brand & retail initiatives in-store

  • Roll out retail campaigns, product pushes, and commercial moments.
  • Ensure sustainability storytelling is implemented correctly and consistently.
  • Capture structured store insights to improve future guidelines and commercial performance.

WHO YOU ARE

  • 3–5 years of retail or sales experience, ideally in sporting goods or outdoor.
  • Strong understanding of sales performance drivers within retail environments.
  • Experience in training, coaching, or field sales roles is a strong plus.
  • Hands-on, structured, detail-oriented, and highly execution-driven.
  • Excellent communicator with strong leadership presence (without disciplinary responsibility).
  • Comfortable working independently in the field and managing multiple stores.
  • Valid German driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
  • Fluent in German (C1) and English (B2).

OUR OFFER

  • Work in an international environment where initiatives matter.
  • Subsidized company pension plan (bAV).
  • EGYM Wellpass membership with access to 13,400+ facilities.
  • JobRad leasing option up to €10,000.
  • Unique outdoor learning opportunities such as Fjällräven Classic or winter training.
  • A passionate team that cares deeply about nature and sustainability.
