Aufgabengebiet
- Overall responsibility for Financial Accounting Operations & Closing Processes, incl. leadership of 2 direct reports
- Preparation, coordination and review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements under US GAAP
- Functional leadership and quality oversight of the external accounting service provider
- Ensuring correct accounting treatment of provisions, accruals, intercompany transactions and general ledger activities
- Review and approval of journal entries, reconciliations and financial reports
- Collaboration with Controlling, Tax, Treasury and local business units
- Primary point of contact for SOX, internal and external audits
- Continuous enhancement of processes, internal controls and system interfaces
- Clear communication of complex accounting matters to stakeholders at all levels
Anforderungsprofil
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or equivalent
- Several years of experience in Financial Accounting, General Ledger or Closing in an international environment
- Strong understanding of accounting processes and confidence in US GAAP closings
- Experience with external accounting partners or shared service centers
- Strong understanding of end‑to‑end processes and internal controls
- Excellent communication skills and intercultural competence
- Confident stakeholder management
- Fluent English; German beneficial
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
