YOUR ROLE AT SIXT

• You are responsible for designing, building and evolving customer-facing distributed systems for our platform on the cloud
• You work on event-driven systems and keep yourself up to date with the latest technologies
• You work in a diverse, international team using agile methodologies, constantly striving to improve team collaboration and processes
• You collaborate effectively with teammates as well as technical and business partners
• You participate in on-call rotations and are available for escalations, ensuring that our team’s critical services are up and running

YOUR SKILLS MATTER

• You have experience in a technology environment, building cloud-native applications, solving scalability challenges, and designing event-driven solutions – ideally in a dynamic startup setting
• You have development experience in Go, building distributed applications
• You have already designed distributed systems, worked on Microservices architectures, and developed large-scale interfaces used by many partners
• You are passionate about constantly learning new skills and improving yourself; you also bring a coaching mentality and share your knowledge with the team
• You have excellent communication skills and enjoy working with technical as well as non-technical stakeholders
