Responsibilities arrow_right
- Leadership of the technical purchasing team at the Germany site
- Close collaboration with international purchasing and specialist departments to align global purchasing strategies
- Shared responsibility for managing technical investment projects in close cooperation with Engineering, Production, and Controlling
- Responsibility for the global purchasing process "Purchase to Pay”
- Development and implementation of commodity group strategies as well as international supplier management
- Execution of global tenders, contract negotiations, and supplier evaluations
- Use of modern digital tools such as eProcurement, Supplier Collaboration, and Spend Analytics
- Leadership and active participation in cross-functional, international projects (e.g., digitalization, sustainability, CAPEX)
- Regular review and optimization of existing purchasing processes with regard to efficiency, quality, and compliance requirements
- Active support of Engineering and Sales through purchasing expertise and strategic consulting
Qualifications arrow_right
- Completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable field
- Additional certification in Project Management (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, PMI)
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in technical procurement within an internationally operating company
- Experience working with global supplier networks and in intercultural collaboration
- Business-fluent in German and English; additional languages are a plus
- Proficient in digital procurement systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa, etc.)
