Intern - Corporate Development & M&A (all genders)

The Corporate Development & M&A department actively shapes the future of the MTU Group. We combine market insights, strategic foresight, and M&A expertise to identify new business opportunities, build sustainable partnerships, and prepare strategic decisions – both in the civil and military sectors. Our focus is on the existing OEM and MRO portfolio as well as the development of new markets and innovative business models.

TASKS

As an intern, you will support our team in diverse projects across Business Development and M&A:

• Strategic Projects : Contribute to the development of new business models and market strategies
• M&A Processes : Assist in identifying acquisition targets, preparing company profiles, and creating presentations
• Market and Competitive Analysis : Research and evaluate trends, technologies, and potential business opportunities
• Project Management : Support projects related to geographic expansion, digitalization, and post-merger integration
• In-house Consulting : Provide input for internal strategic initiatives and decision-making documents

REQUIREMENTS

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Business Administration, Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar fields
• Initial knowledge in strategy, company valuation, financial analysis, or project management is desirable
• High level of initiative and commitment to developing the best solutions as part of a team
• Curiosity , eagerness to learn, and enthusiasm for innovative topics and future trends
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Excellent German and English skills
