We are deltaVision GmbH. We develop, produce, and qualify fluid control systems for aerospace and H2 aviation. In 2022, we founded the company to become a premium Tier 1 supplier of cryogenic- and high-pressure (sub-)systems. We disrupt the market with innovative products, cost-effectiveness, and lead time that no legacy company can offer.

Your mission

As a member of our experienced team in Munich /Germany, you will work together with our development engineers & external partners on the preparation of re-usability of satellites and spacecrafts by refueling technology maturation. A fluidic coupler sub-system is a critical element for the refueling process and shall be conceptualized and pre-validated in the frame of this internship.

Your profile

• Motivated, pragmatic, and self-organized personality, eager to take responsibility
• Knowledge on aerospace systems including engines and functional propulsive systems
• Hands-on mindset for hardware related activities (inspection, assembly, testing)
• Fluency in English, German and further languages are appreciated

Your contribution

• Literature study on orbital refueling technology and applications
• Pre-definition of principal requirements of the fluidic coupler & demonstrator
• CAD design and dimensioning of the fluidic coupler prototype inspired by internally available concepts
• Support of manufacturing and procurement of piece parts & components, assembly of 2 units
• Verification tests & evaluation of models based on test data
