Intro
IRUBIS GmbH is a life science tools startup that pioneers real-time bioprocess analytics with mid-infrared (MIR) spectroscopy. Our mission is to revolutionize bioprocess monitoring and control with innovative and user-friendly tools, enabling the next generation of biopharmaceutical production. To strengthen our sales efforts across Europe, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to join our dynamic team.
Tasks
- Drive direct sales of IRUBIS' solutions to large biopharma and biotech companies across Europe
- Identify new business opportunities and establish long-term relationships with key decision-makers in the biopharmaceutical industry
- Understand customer needs and provide expert consultation on MIR spectroscopy applications in bioprocess monitoring
- Lead product demonstrations, customer trials, and support the implementation process
- Collaborate closely with the marketing, application, and product teams to align on customer feedback and market trends
- Represent IRUBIS at international trade fairs, industry events, and conferences
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company’s growth strategy in the European market
- Supporting our research and development team in optimizing the design and functions of our Monipa analyzer
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience, ideally selling to large biopharma or biotech companies
- Strong scientific background (e.g., degree in biotechnology, chemistry, life sciences, or a related field)
- Practical experience with optical spectroscopy is highly desirable
- Fluent in both German and English (spoken and written)
- Experience working in a startup or fast-paced, dynamic environments is a plus
- Self-driven and structured working style with a strong ability to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset
- High willingness to travel internationally within Europe (up to 70%)
