Introduction
The Manager, Global Tax & Subsidies will report to the Director, Global Tax & Subsidies and be responsible for global tax reporting including tax accounting under IFRS and German/EMEA tax and related compliance.

Your Job

• Prepare and review interim and annual global income tax provisions under IAS 12 Income Taxes, including current and deferred taxes and effective tax rate.

• Prepare and review global tax account rollforward and income taxes payable reconciliation for Germany and other EMEA jurisdictions.

• Manage Germany and other EMEA tax compliance and advisory matters.

• Monitor the introduction of new tax legislation and accounting pronouncements to ensure compliance and correct income tax accounting.

• Engage in corporate tax planning.

• Prepare forecast effective tax rate guidance for internal and external stakeholders.

• Partner with GF team members including FP&A, Accounting and Financial Reporting.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Master’s degree or equivalent preferred

• 8+ years of experience in taxation.

• Tax experience in a public accounting firm or a combination of public accounting and public company experience preferred.

• Analytical, strong business/commercial sense, team player, result-oriented with high levels of drive and initiative.

• Effective workload prioritization and meeting of deadlines.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
