Job Description
The Media Account Manager will work with the Senior Media Account Manager and Director of Offline Marketing who are responsible for managing co-branded media campaigns, collaborating with brand partners, and driving media strategy to maximise revenue and performance. This role involves strategic planning, client management, and cross functional collaboration to ensure the successful campaign execution of traditional and digital media campaigns.
We are looking for someone who has experience in media planning and buying across multiple channels either at a media agency or client side (ideally within an in-house retail media team). You will be comfortable with all aspects of the planning process, including briefing media and creative agencies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Media planning and campaign management:
- Work closely with our partners, devising co-branded media strategies which deliver against both our objectives.
- Co-ordinate media and creative briefs with partner brands.
- Support the Director of Offline Marketing with media briefing meetings.
- Co- ordinate strategic response to brief with our media agency and in-house offline, digital, onsite and CRM teams.
- Work with our media agency to deliver quality media plans which deliver strong ROI against agreed targets and budgets.
- Support the Director of Offline Marketing on defining processes and workflows relating to co-branded campaigns.
- Support internal teams with the creative asset management process, ensuring all assets are delivered on time and to correct specifications for campaign go-live.
- Project manage the campaign process from brief through to implementation.
Collaboration:
- Build and manage strong working relationships with our external media agency and partner brands.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams within the marketing department to ensure seamless co-ordination and execution of campaigns.
- Support the Director of Offline Marketing in managing the briefing process with our media agency, partners and creative teams, ensuring media and creative goals are aligned.
- Foster collaboration across different business areas to achieve strategic objectives.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders, including team members, other department heads, and external partners.
- Act as a liaison between co-marketing, vendor management, creative and online marketing, providing regular updates on campaign strategy and media plans.
Communication and reporting:
- Support internal teams with pulling together campaign reports for status meetings.
- Update partner brands on campaign performance.
- Support the Director of Offline Marketing with drafting campaign PCA’s (post campaign analysis) and identifying actionable insights to inform future campaign strategy.
Qualifications
- Good understanding of both traditional and digital media
- Experience of planning co-branded campaigns is preferred but not essential
- Knowledge of different media landscapes
- Experience driving direction and alignment across cross-functional teams
- Experience working with media agencies
- Experience working with internal and/or external creative agencies
- Understanding of different measurement frameworks such as MMM, incrementality testing, causal impact analysis, A/B testing
- Fluent in English, German a plus, international mindset
