Job Description:

- HPE Morpheus VM Essentials for virtualization and private-cloud management (VMware and HVM),
- HPE Morpheus Enterprise for hybrid-cloud automation and self-service orchestration, and
- HPE OpsRamp for AIOps-driven monitoring and observability.
As a Cloud Ops Suite Architect, you will serve as a hands-on technical expert supporting mid-market customers and channel partners. You will deliver enablement sessions, assist and train partners with proof-of-concepts, and assist partners in positioning and deploying HPE’s Cloud Ops Suite solutions.
This is a field-oriented, high-impact role for a technologist who thrives in dynamic, fast-moving environments and enjoys combining technical depth with real-world execution.
Key Responsibilities
Channel & Partner Enablement
- Train and enable HPE partners on HPE VM Essentials and HPE Morpheus Enterprise.
- Help get strategic partners build, and share demo and lab environments for partner showcases.
- Support partners through all stages of customer POCs — from setup to successful validation.
- Assist in positioning Cloud Ops Suite solutions during partner and customer presentations.
Customer Engagement & POC Execution
- Conduct discovery sessions, technical presentations, and live demos with customers.
- Assist Partner and lead POCs and evaluations focused on VM Essentials and Morpheus Enterprise, helping
- customers migrate or extend from VMware and other hypervisors.
- Collaborate with HPE sales, presales, and product teams to ensure smooth solution hand-off and consistent technical messaging.
Field Readiness & Collaboration
- Provide structured feedback from the field to improve training, content, and tools.
- Share best practices, success stories, and lessons learned to enhance partner readiness.
- Contribute to a collaborative, "startup-style” culture focused on agility, experimentation, and innovation.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
- 4-8 years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud, or virtualization technologies, ideally in a technical-selling or
- enablement capacity.
- Proven hands-on experience with at least one major hypervisor (VMware ESXi, KVM, Hyper-V).
- Proven experience with private, public, or hybrid cloud architectures.
- Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems, networking, and storage (SAN/NAS, iSCSI, SDS).
- Exposure to automation tools such as PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, or Terraform.
- Industry certifications in virtualization, cloud, or automation (preferred).
- Familiarity with HPE’s hybrid IT portfolio and competitive landscape.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical-selling and presentation abilities; comfortable leading both partner training and customer
- demos.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex topics to mixed audiences.
- Initiative-driven, startup mindset — able to work autonomously, experiment, and adapt quickly in a fast-evolving
- environment.
- Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities with attention to detail.
- Strong understanding of channel ecosystems and partner collaboration models.
- Proven ability to multi-task and manage several concurrent enablement or POC projects.
- Business fluency in English and German language.
