About the Role

In this role you will be responsible for owning the digital roadmap for Procurement including Sustainable Sourcing.

Located in our Munich, Lisbon, or Gothenburg office, the Procurement Excellence Manager will report to the Senior Procurement Excellence Manager in Gothenburg. This is a permanent position.

Traveling will be required in this role to visit industry fairs and meet suppliers, approximately once per month.

What You Will Do

• screen and assess procurement future markets.

• investigate AI capabilities.

• Investigate decarbonization and the needed tools to capture supplier data.

• work close with IT and developing future mode of operation for procurement.

• collecting input from stakeholders.

• lead investigations and Proof of concept for new applications.

To succeed in this role, you need to be able to build and maintain strong business relationships with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally, demonstrating excellent networking and stakeholder management skills. You are a strong communicator who is not afraid to challenge, and you thrive in a dynamic, international environment, where changes are frequent. Additionally, you are well-structured and can work independently as well as part of a team. You are a self-leading person who takes responsibility for your tasks and get motivated by starting projects and taking initiatives. You work conceptually and have a holistic view of procurement, ensuring that all aspects are considered in your strategic approach. You have:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience from similar tasks, such as leading investigations and proof of concepts for new applications.

• Strong understanding of procurement processes with a significant IT focus.

• Experience working at a high-level, conceptualizing strategies.

• Excellent project management skills.

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
