We are recruiting for a part-time (minimum 50%) or full-time position , starting September 2026 :

Professor for Finance and Accounting (m/f/x)

Your Responsibilities

• Teaching finance- and accounting-related courses at the Bachelor’s and Master’s levels, all delivered fully in person in Munich
• Contributing to research in the fields of Finance and/or Accounting
• Involvement in governance and committee work as well as institutional development

Our Requirements

• Proven excellence in teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels
• Commitment to high quality, up-to-date research in the field (demonstrated by either at least two peer-reviewed journal publications within the last five years or a doctoral degree obtained within the last three years)
• Relevant work experience in the areas of Finance and/or Accounting or related
• International profile and teaching experience in English and German
• Experience and willingness to acquire national and international third-party funded projects in the fields of teaching and research are an advantage

All applicants must fulfill the formal requirements for the position of a professor in Bavaria including:

• Master degree and doctoral degree in a relevant field
• Professional experience of at least five years, three of which must have been gained outside a university
