Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Radar System Integration & Validation Engineer to join our System & Applications team. You will be responsible for integrating and validating next-generation automotive radar products, ensuring high performance and reliability. The role requires collaboration across cross-functional teams, contributing to cutting-edge radar technology for automotive applications.
This is a hands-on role focusing on system-level testing, validation, and measurement of 77GHz radar systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead radar system integration and validation activities, working closely with cross-functional teams.
- Implement system integration strategies within development projects.
- Understand and translate customer acceptance criteria into test and validation implementations.
- Define and execute system validation plans, including development of validation benches.
- Conduct 77GHz radar system measurements using laboratory equipment to evaluate system and chip performance.
- Develop and adapt system integration and validation test cases within automated testing frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with system, product, and IP architects to refine requirements and ensure design feasibility.
Required Education & Experience
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive radar systems.
- Strong understanding of HW/SW interaction in modern automotive radar systems.
- Proven experience in radar system integration and validation.
- Hands-on experience with microwave, RF, and microcontroller measurement equipment.
- Proficiency in measurement engineering, system applications, and validation methodologies.
- Experience with lab automation and coding (MATLAB, Python); knowledge of Java is a plus.
- Familiarity with software development tools (Git, JIRA) and modern IDEs.
- Practical experience in high-GHz system applications and test automation frameworks.
