About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Munich the Restaurant Manager – In Room Dining, Banqueting & Breakfast is responsible for our In Room Dining, Banquets and Breakfast. The Restaurant Manager – In Room Dining, Banqueting & Breakfast reports to the Director of Food & Beverage.

As Restaurant Manager – In Room Dining, Banqueting and Breakfast, you will responsible for the following duties:

• Responsible for the smooth operation of the breakfast, as well as In Room Dining and events
• Maintains a complete working knowledge of the menu
• Vacation and duty roster planning for the department
• Contact person for guest requests or complaints
• Control of the mise en place for the daily business
• Ensuring compliance with all Mandarin Oriental and HACCP standards

As Restaurant Manager – In Room Dining, Banqueting and Breakfast, we expect from you:

• Experience in a similar work environment and in a manager position
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
• Structured and organized way of working
• Ability to work in a team and on your own initiative
• Very good communication skills in German and English
