We are looking for a Rhapsody Integration Engineer with strong healthcare domain experience to design, develop, and support system integrations. The ideal candidate will work extensively with the Rhapsody Integration Engine to build and manage interfaces that ensure secure, scalable, and compliant healthcare data exchange. Responsibilities
* Design, develop, deploy, and monitor healthcare interfaces using the Rhapsody Integration Engine.
* Build, configure, and support HL7 v2.x and FHIR-based interfaces.
* Configure and manage communication protocols, including RESTful APIs.
* Perform data mapping, transformation, routing, and validation to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
* Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues using logs and error-handling mechanisms.
* Integrate healthcare systems such as EHR/EMR, LIS, RIS, PACS, and DICOM platforms.
* Collaborate with onsite teams, vendors, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver integration solutions.
* Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare data security and privacy standards.
* Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including interface specifications and mapping documents.
* Provide post-deployment support and enhancements for healthcare integrations.
Requirements
* 3–5 years of experience in healthcare system integrations.
* Strong hands-on experience with the Rhapsody Integration Engine.
* In-depth knowledge of HL7 v2.x and FHIR messaging standards.
* Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
* Knowledge of XML, JSON, and message transformation concepts.
* Basic understanding of SQL for troubleshooting and data validation.
* Solid understanding of EHR/EMR workflows and healthcare interoperability concepts.
* Familiarity with EHR/EMR, DICOM, and PACS integration workflows.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
* Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional and multi-stakeholder teams.
