YOUR TASKS

• You are responsible for various risk and control programs as defined by our parent company American Express and work with the business to identify, assess and mitigate risks across products, processes and initiatives
• You support the business departments in creating meaningful controls and test concepts that fit an agile environment and raise the standards in terms of their documentation
• You work closely with the Legal, Privacy, Information Security, Product, Data and Engineering teams to implement effective risk management and governance structures, data protection, information security and the product, data and technology teams to implement effective risk management and governance structures
• You provide support with ad-hoc risk analyses, the development and monitoring of meaningful KRIs and the creation of targeted management reporting
• You have experience in setting up new governance structures (e.g. AI governance), the continuous development of new governance structures and the implementation of new controls. e.g. AI governance), continuous support and corresponding reporting with
• The continuous training of our employees on governance and risk topics rounds off your area of responsibility
  

YOUR PROFILE

• You have successfully completed a degree in (business) informatics, business administration / economics, law or a comparable education
• You have several years of professional experience in a relevant area such as risk management, ICS, compliance or auditing paired with an affinity for tech and data topics
• You have experience in project management and in being responsible for virtual teams across different countries, segments and functions, segments and functions
• You are characterized by strong analytical skills and a comprehensive understanding of complex work processes
• In addition, you successfully implement topics even in the face of possible resistance and manage your tasks in a goal-oriented manner
• Strong communication skills and very good written and spoken German and English round off your profile
