Hey there, we are SafeNow!

A startup on the mission to bring safety into the pockets of every person on the planet, for free. To do this, we are developing an app that gives you instant access to locally relevant helpers, whether that is your friends, family, or professional helpers.

We are a small team with a big heart, based in Munich, consisting of 28 people with 7 different nationalities. We are looking for a passionate new team member, who loves to tackle new challenges in a fast-paced startup environment. We are a diverse bunch of honest and open-minded people, who share a common vision to make the world a safer place for ourselves and the people and places we love.

• Build and improve features in our SafeNow App (implemented with Flutter)
• Ensure the app runs smoothly across platforms – Android, iOS, and ideally also Windows
• Participate in releases, code reviews, and quality assurance processes
• Help grow the mobile team through knowledge sharing, best practices, and technical leadership

• Several years of experience in mobile development with Flutter – or Swift/Kotlin with the ambition to go full Flutter
• Experience with web technologies, GraphQL and BLE / iBeacon and geolocation APIs is a bonus
• Experience with Flutter on Windows is a plus
• Self-driven, team-oriented, and always looking to improve things
• Preferably based in or around Munich (remote possible)
• Fluent in English, German is a bonus
• Passion for making the world a safer place
