Your Role
- You create concepts and detailed designs, develop installation for electrical systems and components, define electrical routings while working in close collaboration with an engaged and supportive team.
- You analyze the requirements, capabilities and performance of new and existing products to deliver innovative solutions for the aerospace sector as well as the compliance of the requirements and apply relevant industrial standards.
- You work together with the customer and communicate with them regarding technical decisions and work progress and act as a coach for junior engineers to support team development and create a culture of learning and collaboration.
- You create detailed multi-view drawings, including diagrams, harnesses, routing, and electrical installations to turn visionary concepts into practical applications for next-generation aerospace projects.
- You define the definition of the interfaces for electrical systems and assemblies.
Your Profile
- Successfully completed bachelor’s or master's degree in Aerospace or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Several years of work experience in the aerospace industry with focus on wiring diagrams or harness design combined with extensive knowledge of aerospace processes, requirements, methods and a dedication to contributing to team success through your expertise.
- Good knowledge of electrical CAD ( Catia V5/SEE Electrical/Mentor, Capital Logic), experience with 3DX is an advantage, but not a mandatory requirement - we look forward to encouraging you in new areas.
- Willingness to undergo a security screening in accordance with §7 of the German Aviation Security Act (LuftSiG), including obtaining a level Ü2 security clearance.
- Fluent in German and/or English, both written and spoken with the ability to communicate effectively in a team-oriented and inclusive setting.
