Role: Senior Field Application Engineer

What You’ll Do

As a Senior FAE, you’ll play a pivotal role in expanding market penetration and delivering exceptional technical support. Your responsibilities will include:

• Application and Design Support: Partner with customers to provide expert design advice and application solutions.
• Hands-On Troubleshooting: Analyse and debug customer designs, offering tailored recommendations for performance enhancements.
• Custom Solutions: Develop bespoke designs and hardware to meet specific customer needs.
• Technical Training: Conduct workshops and training sessions for customers, distributors, and industry partners.
• Sales Collaboration: Support the regional sales team to secure new design wins and drive revenue growth.
• Customer Visits: Travel approximately 20% of the time to provide on-site technical assistance and build relationships.

Your Expertise

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a combination of technical acumen, customer focus, and innovative thinking. Key competencies include:

• Strong communication skills for cultivating lasting client relationships.
• Ability to multitask and prioritise in a dynamic environment.
• Detail-oriented approach with a passion for delivering customer satisfaction.
• Expertise in designing high-voltage transformers and AC/DC SMPS (Switch-Mode Power Supplies) for low-power industrial and consumer applications.

What You Bring

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering ( BSEE ) or higher (Master’s degree preferred).
• Experience: At least 8 years of experience designing high-voltage SMPS , or equivalent experience based on education.
• Additional Skills: Background in HV/LV motor drive inverters (high-voltage/low-voltage) is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Strong teamwork, interpersonal abilities, and commercial awareness.
• Languages: Fluency in English (German is an advantage).
• Other Requirements: Valid driving license and willingness to travel.
