Building X is the cloud platform from Siemens Smart Infrastructure Buildings that offers a suite of SaaS applications to improve overall buildings performance, sustainability and experience. As Senior Product Manager for SaaS Application Building Operations you resume overall Desigo Automation related product management responsibility for one of the flagship Building X applications called “Operations Manager”.

The role
- Global product management responsibility for a cloud-based SaaS application in building operations and monitoring – targeting existing and new Desigo Automation customers
- Gain in-depth understanding of customer needs and key buying criteria of selected market segments
- Define a winning product strategy, compelling value propositions, business model and business planning as well as the product roadmap based on continuous customer and market insights
- Drive ideation, requirement management, prioritization, and socialization with the Building X Product Management until release and go-to-market, by applying customer centric and agile methodologies
- Facilitate rollout of successful sales and delivery models
- Continuous interaction with our customers, regional partners, marketing, sales, and further stakeholders to ensure excellent product-market fit
- You are the go-to-person when it comes to digital business as well as latest trends in the operations and monitoring domain within the building industry for the complete Building Automation team, our customers and partners
- Support competitive analysis, qualitative and quantitative market research, and User Acceptance Experience testing
What you bring along
Knowledge and Experience
- Master’s degree in engineering or economics or similar education
- Longterm experience within digital cloud platforms (SaaS, PaaS, APIs, etc.) and a strong understanding about the Building Automation Industry around Building Management Systems
- Longterm product management experience in Software business within a B2B environment
- Understanding of the guiding principles of cloud platforms standards, deployment models, and digital collaboration models environments, including IT management capabilities and auditing in enterprise environments
- Insights of the different players and stakeholders in the cloud platform business, the value-flows and business models between the cloud platform-, solution providers and the enterprise end-customers (PaaS, SaaS, Platform Economy, etc.) would be welcome
- Understanding of digital ecosystems and partner management models would be a highly welcomed addition
- You bring along the right mindset to collaborate across hierarchies and organizational borders
- You are a forward-thinking and solution focused team player with strong analytical skills
- Working in a demanding and complex environment is what you enjoy, and you drive decisions proactively
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; knowledge of German would be a plus
Location
- Our new colleague may work from Zug/Switzerland, various locations in Germany or from any EU country with a major Siemens Smart Infrastructure location.
