Software Engineer (f/m/x)

"Your roadmap to make an impact

• Design, develop, and maintain core software systems across domains such as computer vision, guidance & navigation, perception, or mission control.

• Implement algorithms for autonomous decision-making, real-time data processing, and sensor fusion .

• Build scalable, maintainable codebases for both embedded and cloud-based systems.

• Collaborate with hardware, flight testing, and systems engineering teams to integrate and validate software in real-world UAV operations.

• Conduct code reviews, performance profiling, and testing to ensure reliability in critical environments .

• Stay ahead of emerging technologies in autonomy, AI/ML, and computer vision, and evaluate their application to TYTAN systems.

• Support deployment, monitoring, and debugging of systems in both lab and field conditions.

Who you are

• Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

• 3+ years of professional experience in software development (Python, C++, or Rust preferred).

• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system architecture .

• Experience in at least one of the following:

• Computer Vision : OpenCV, deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow)

• Autonomy : path planning, SLAM, control systems, ROS2

• Systems/Infrastructure : networking, distributed systems, embedded software

• Familiarity with simulation tools (Gazebo, AirSim, Unreal Engine) is a plus.

• Comfortable working in agile, cross-functional teams and communicating clearly across technical and operational domains.
