Your job:
- Responsibility for programming and implementing Festo control and software products
- Supporting our customers in the technological advancement of automation technology
- Developing and commissioning customer-specific application software based on PC-based control technology, including on-site at the customer's premises
- Application programming in IEC 61131-3 (Codesys PLC including motion control) and high-level languages on PC platforms with visualisation and IT connectivity
- Conducting feasibility studies at the Festo Experience Centre
- Supporting the sales team in customer projects and workshops on topics related to software, drive and control technology
Your qualification:
- Successfully completed degree in automation technology, computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable technical qualification
- Several years of professional experience in automation technology and digitalisation in an industrial environment
- Advanced programming experience in IEC 61131-3 and high-level languages
- In-depth knowledge of IT/OT technology, motion control, fieldbus systems and software development
- Experience in commissioning servo drive technology, including functional safety
- Good German and English language skills
- Enjoy working in a team, affinity for technology and innovative spirit
- Very good communication skills and strong customer focus
- Willingness to travel within Germany
