Since the big bang at the beginning of October 2024, we have been setting off a firework display of concerts, art, culture, culinary delights, academy events, private parties and corporate events on the entire 20,000 m² of space at Bergson Kunstkraftwerk in Munich Aubing.

Our guests can enjoy culinary delights not only in our casual fine dining restaurant Zeitlang, the Anima day bar, our live club Barbastelle, the outdoor terrace and the beer garden, but also at our multifaceted event catering for small and large events in the Bergson for up to approx. 1,500 people. With reliable, sustainable quality and innovative food creations, we cater to every taste - from modern interpretations of regional cuisine to international dishes and vegetarian and vegan options.

For our kitchen team, we are looking for a full-time, permanent position for a:n

Stewarding Supervisor / Chief Steward / Head of Scullery (m/f/d)

• You will ensure the smooth running of the cleaning and clearing of cutlery, glass, crockery, porcelain and cooking utensils as well as general cleaning activities in the kitchen and will also be actively involved in day-to-day operations
• You will be responsible for the professional storage, use and maintenance of all kitchen equipment as well as the management and ordering of consumables, cleaning agents and disposal accessories
• You carry out inventories and determine the need for new purchases
• You ensure proper waste separation and disposal
• You instruct new employees professionally and instruct any external companies
• You ensure compliance with all quality standards, HACCP guidelines and occupational safety regulations
• In your management role, you promote a positive, motivating working atmosphere with your modern management style, report to the kitchen management and work together with colleagues from other Bergson teams, e.g. from the service team and the convention & event team in the organization of events and food promotions

• You have extensive knowledge of cleaning cutlery, glass, crockery, porcelain and cooking utensils as well as general kitchen hygiene
• Ideally, you have already gained management experience, preferably as a team leader in the hotel, catering or event industry
• You have a high level of quality awareness
• You speak German fluently and English well
