10.09.2025, Studentische Hilfskräfte, Praktikantenstellen, Studienarbeiten

The MEDIS project ( https://gepris.dfg.de/gepris/projekt/535345838 ) is part of the DFG-funded research unit "Magnetosphere, Ionosphere, Plasmasphere, and Thermosphere as a Coupled System (MIPT)” ( https://gepris.dfg.de/gepris/projekt/462853228?context=projekt&task=showDetail&id=462853228& ). The overall objective of the MEDIS project is the development of a new approach for modeling and predicting the ionosphere based on machine learning techniques. The ionosphere has a significant influence on applications dealing with trans-ionospheric radio waves, like GNSS navigation and remote sensing. Thus, ionosphere modeling is of paramount importance for such applications.
