As a member of the Germany sales team based in Munich, Telecom Carrier Manager will be responsible for shaping and executing the strategy and driving the business with our largest Telco Partner in the market. Telecom Carrier Manager will play a critical role that is focused on crafting and driving our strategic relationship with the partner, will consult and influence the executive team within the carrier organisation to grow Apple’s business across all lines including iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple Services and Accessories – all contributing to driving the partner’s business forward. Reporting to the Group Carrier Lead, Telecom Carrier Manager will have full management of influencing and driving objectives through key relationships. Strong leadership, mentoring, and extraordinary presentation skills are needed to succeed in this role.

Description

The Telecom Carrier Manager is responsible for ensuring Apple Product sales targets are met or exceeded. You will develop and implement a go-to-market plan aligned with your partner’s strategic objectives. You will collaborate with the Germany team to prioritize activities and programs, and manage demand generation plans aligned with your partner’s goals. This position is responsible for achieving a significant portion of Apple’s Germany sales revenue target and would require strong collaboration with many functions and senior stakeholders within Apple. To succeed in the role, a strong leadership mindset and background are required.

Responsibilities

  • You build relationships, develop partner capabilities, and ensure flawless execution across our partners’ business.
  • You manage all operational elements of the account to optimise sales performance and customer experiences.
  • You collaborate closely with internal and external partners to create plans and programs that scale the business and drive the adoption of the Apple ecosystem with our partners by delivering amazing customer experiences.
  • You drive your account plan by influencing and collaborating cross-functionally with key internal stakeholders to bring the best of Apple to your partner.
  • You negotiate and manage contractual agreements between Apple and your partner.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 or more years of sales/account management experience in the telco, consumer retailer, digital, or technology industry.
  • Fluency in English and German is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.

  • Experience building strong and productive relationships with strategic partners and ensuring the partnerships are driving top-line revenue growth.
