Responsibilities
We are looking for a dedicated Advertising Subject Matter Expert (SME) to own and scale our Shop Ads performance for Top Spending Sellers within TikTok Shop Germany. This role is the central expert for campaign optimization, troubleshooting, and strategic development of our Shop Ads business. You will work hands-on with our highest-impact sellers and act as the go-to authority for everything Shop Advertising within the team. This role is based in our Munich office. Responsibilities: - Act as the primary ads expert for top-spending TikTok Shop sellers, driving performance through continuous campaign optimization - Audit, structure, and scale Shop Ads campaigns across formats (Live/Shoptab/Video) - Troubleshoot complex campaign, attribution, and performance issues in close collaboration with product and operations teams - Translate seller goals into clear advertising strategies - Build and continuously update internal advertising playbooks, best practices, and training for Account Managers - Enable the commercial team through workshops, deal support, and performance deep dives - Contribute directly to the Shop Advertising strategy for TikTok Shop Germany, including GTM input and scaling frameworks - Act as the voice of sellers internally when it comes to advertising needs and product gaps
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: - 3+ years of hands-on performance marketing / paid social / marketplace advertising experience - Deep practical experience with campaign setup, optimization, budgeting, and scaling of ad budgets - Strong analytical mindset with confidence in ROAS, CPA, funnel metrics, attribution, and incrementality - Trainer & multiplier mindset – you enjoy building knowledge across teams, not just running campaigns yourself - Highly structured, execution-strong, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment - Fluent in German to ease communication with German stakeholders Preferred Qualification: - Experience working with e-commerce brands, retail media, or marketplace advertising is a strong plus Why This Role Matters This is a high-impact specialist role at the intersection of seller growth, revenue, and platform strategy. Your work will directly influence Shop Ads revenue, seller success, and the commercial playbook for TikTok Shop Germany.
