Your mission
- Immerse yourself in the exciting world of banking! Get to know our five different quantitatively focused departments—the choice is yours!
- Work on the (further) development and maintenance of quantitative bank management models (e.g. credit portfolio models, VaR models for market price risks, XVA models, pricing models for trading products, liquidity risk models), the conception of new products and the associated support during implementation in the bank's IT systems.
- Answer challenging and complex questions with quantitative models
- Support in process optimization or automation of regular operations in the overall bank management units (e.g. in risk controlling or treasury) or in trading as well as in the structural analysis of internal and external data using modern analysis software (e.g. R, Python, Tableau, Ab Initio) and new technical methods
- Gain insights into cross-bank projects to harmonize the bank's internal infrastructure
- Get to know one of our domestic or foreign branches and/or group subsidiaries (e.g. DKB AG) depending on capacity Build comprehensive knowledge of the entire banking business
Your superpowers
- You have an above-average degree from an academic university (Bachelor's or Master's) in mathematics, business mathematics, statistics, econometrics, data science, physics, (business) informatics or a comparable course of study
- You are passionate about the financial industry and have gained initial practical quantitative experience in the financial sector through internships, student jobs, vocational training or relevant professional experience
- You have good German and English skills (at least B2 level), other foreign language skills are an advantage
- Ideally, you have international experience through a stay abroad or an internship abroad
- You are enthusiastic about the continuous development and optimization of our model landscape under modern professional and technical aspects
- You are proactive and have strong communication skills, enjoy teamwork and contribute your creative ideas
