Mode of Employment: Limited, 15-20 hours/week

You'll make an impact by

• You support the extraction and aggregation of environmental data from various sources, including APIs, databases, and PDF documents, by developing and implementing automated data collection workflows
• Building on this, you contribute to the development and training of machine learning models for pattern recognition, taking part in feature engineering, model selection, and validation tasks
• Subsequently, you assist in deploying and maintaining ML models in production environments to ensure continuous data quality and availability
• To visualize your findings effectively, you help create interactive dashboards and automated reporting solutions using PowerBI or similar tools
• Throughout all tasks, you collaborate closely with the team to identify new data sources and optimize existing analytics processes

This is how you'll win us over

• Education : You are currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related technical field and have at least one year left until graduation
• Experience and Skills :
• Advanced programming skills in Python, with proficiency in ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
• Hands-on experience in data extraction from APIs and PDF documents, as well as data manipulation using tools like Pandas and NumPy
• Experience in creating interactive dashboards and business intelligence solutions using PowerBI; knowledge of Tableau, Matplotlib, or Plotly is a plus
• Familiarity with natural language processing libraries such as NLTK, spaCy, or Transformers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ways of Working : You are highly self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently, demonstrating strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Languages : Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
