Working Student (f/m/d) in Data Science / Data Analytics

Position Summary

As a working student for Data Science / Data Analytics, you will work closely with our Quality team in System LSI division to ensure optimal collection, visualization and quality of data by utilizing your Python as well as Java knowledge.

System LSI is a division within Samsung Semiconductors Europe dedicated to enhancing cars with cutting-edge infotainment systems and sensors to ensure safe driving. You will support the Quality team that plays a pivotal role in supporting the R&D and industrial engineering teams by defining quality improvement priorities through rigorous monitoring and analysis of customer complaint data by making objective judgments and driving continuous improvement.

Role and Responsibilities

• You will support the improvement of our existing generation data tools and processes and develop a platform for optimal data collection from diverse data sources

• You will implement prediction models in Python based on test data and applied screening methods, as well as enhance them using machine learning techniques

• You will design reports involving writing DAX expressions for data visualization

• You will present insightful findings and enhance data-driven decision-making processes

Skills and Qualifications

• You have successfully completed at least 3 years of study and currently enrolled in full-time studies of Data Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology or similar

• You have already first working experiences (internship or similar) in Data Analytics / Programming or Data Visualization

• You have great programming skills with practical experience in Python and Java for Data Analytics

• You have some experience with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tool

• You bring great MS Office skills (strong Excel skills with Power Query and Data Modeling)

• You bring strong communication skills and are fluent in English

• You are passionate and curious about data
