Business Automation Associate (AI & Ops)
Über diesen Job
TL;DR
Automate the boring stuff. Kill stupid work. Join experienced entrepreneurs (scaled to millions of users, $100m+ exits). Bridge the gap between complex tax processes and modern AI. You won't just analyze problems; you will fix them immediately using No-Code tools (Make, n8n, Airtable) and Python/JS snippet. Learn from the founders, own your projects, and enable us to scale rapidly & efficiently.
The opportunity
How taxation, accounting, and payroll work today is a pain for everyone. Still, every business must do it continuously. It is the backbone that our economy runs on. Enabled through AI, we are turning this often-painful process into a radically simple experience for our customers, so they can focus on what matters to them: growing their business.
About us
We are a team of experienced entrepreneurs who have scaled businesses to 10s of millions of users, 10s of millions in revenue, multiple countries, and 9-digit exits - and we are just getting started. We are backed with € 3 million in equity, even though we haven’t actively raised funding yet – yes, investors are chasing us.
Tasks
The role
As our Business Automation Associate (AI & Ops), you will operate at the intersection of Engineering and Operations. You will sit directly with the engineering team and our tax experts to decompose complex workflows into modular, automated solutions.
You are not here to write long reports on what could **be done. You are here to build the solution and radically kill stupid work and free your colleagues of it. You will design, build, and maintain the automated workflows that allow us to deliver a world-class professional service without drowning in manual work. You will be an architect of our internal scalability.
What you’ll own
- Master RPA & Pioneer APA: You will build robust Robotic Process Automations (RPA) for structured tasks using Make and n8n, while leveraging Agentic Process Automation (APA) where standard bots fail**.**
- "Kill Stupid Work": You actively hunt for repetitive, manual tasks with our tax experts and ruthlessly automate them to free up time for high-value work - your colleagues will love you.
- Bot Failure & Optimization: Automations break. You will own the debugging process, ensuring our "digital workforce" is reliable, scalable, and constantly improving - optimizing for error handling and scalability as we grow.
- Internal Enablement: You act as a mentor for automation tools within the company, helping colleagues understand how to leverage technology to work smarter, not harder.
Our automation context (Greenfield)
- Tools over rules: We prefer pragmatic solutions. If it solves the problem fast and reliably, use it.
- Your influence: You will help to choose the tool stack for our internal operations.
- Budget: Access to the best tooling to make you and the team fast.
Requirements
What you’ll bring
- Background: A degree in Business Informatics, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field - OR standout real-world experience.
- No-Code Mastery: Experience with automation platforms like Make, n8n, or Zapier. You understand webhooks, APIs, and logic flow.
- Analytical & Massive Bias for Action: You have meticulous attention to detail. When you see a broken process, you feel a personal urge to fix it immediately + you act on it.
- Business x Tech Translator: You can speak the language of business (efficiency, reliability) and translate it into the language of tech (logic loops, database structures).
- Problem Solving: Impressive solution orientation. You see a broken process as a personal challenge to fix immediately.
- Communication: Fluency in German (C1/native) and English is a MUST (you will be automating workflows involving complex German tax documentation).
- Presence: Availability to spend 4-5 days per week in our Munich office.
Nice to have
- Coding Basics: You know enough JavaScript or Python to write custom script blocks in Make/n8n when the standard modules aren't enough.
- Data Literacy: Familiarity with SQL or setting up dashboards in tools like Airtable or HubSpot.
- Startup/Agency Experience: You have worked in a fast-paced environment where "done is better than perfect".
Benefits
What you’ll get
- Unique opportunity to join a company very early which you can shape.
- Rapid growth path: Grow your career with the growing company.
- Perfect environment to develop relevant skills in a world of AI and hyper-automation.
- Above-market compensation package.
The process (fast, but meaningful)
- Jump on an intro call with a founder or recruiter.
- Get to know a founder or engineer, virtually or in person (up to you).
- Meet our whole founding team during a final interview (in-person, ~3h, incl. working session).
