Your responsibilities
At AlphaPet Ventures (APV), we are building a company‑wide culture of reporting excellence. To support this, we are looking for a Central BI Data Analyst who will help shape consistent, scalable, and high‑quality reporting across all business units. You will take on clear responsibilities from day one and gradually expand your scope
toward independent ownership, working closely with the BI Team Lead and senior engineers.
- Contribute to tasks within the analytics roadmap and support AI‑related initiatives and build strong KPI knowledge across business units and provide stakeholders with reliable insights
- Develop and maintain dashboards — from basic visualizations to more advanced
views und update and refine existing business reports and LookML components (data checks,
simple updates, documentation) - Support backend improvements by taking on LookML or structural tasks and guide business units to actionable insights from our already existing data
- Support the Analytics & Reporting Excellence cluster in establishing APV‑wide
reporting standard - Participate and steer bi‑weekly Data Insights meetings and contribute to KPI
discussions - Maintain a clean reporting landscape by reducing duplicates and outdated reports and identify optimization and decision opportunities in reporting workflows
Your profile
- Practical experience with BI/reporting tools (e.g., Looker, Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI)
- Basic knowledge of SQL or similar query languages; LookML experience is a plus
- Strong analytical mindset and understanding of KPIs and business logic
- Structured, detail‑oriented working style with high quality standards
- Confident communicator who can collaborate across teams and translate reporting needs into solutions
- Ability to manage responsibilities independently and stay organized and motivation to further develop technical BI skills and contribute to a scalable reporting ecosystem
