Our client, an elite US law firm is looking to expand its Financial Restructuring team with the addition of a talented Associate. This is a rare opportunity to join a high-performing, close-knit team at the forefront of complex cross-border restructuring and insolvency matters.

The successful candidate will gain exposure to some of the most sophisticated and high-value mandates in the market, working alongside leading practitioners in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Tasks

The role:
• Advising on a broad range of financial restructuring and insolvency matters, often with a cross-border element
• Supporting on complex finance transactions involving private capital, special situations, and distressed investing
• Collaborating closely with senior lawyers and clients to deliver strategic, commercial advice on high-stakes matters

Requirements

The successful individual is likely to have:
• 2-4 years’ post-qualification experience in restructuring and insolvency, gained at US or international law firm
• Strong academic background (minimum 2:1 or equivalent)
• Excellent technical skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commercial mindset
• Experience or interest in private credit, special situations, or complex finance structures is highly desirable
• A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to thrive in a high-performance environment
