We're now looking for a motivated Working Student Software Testing & QA (m/f/d) to join the COLMEIA team in Munich and help us ensure the quality and reliability of our platform as we continue to grow!

Tasks

What’s this job all about:

• Quality Assurance & Testing: You'll conduct manual UI/UX tests to ensure our platform delivers an outstanding user experience
• Test Case Development: You'll create and maintain test cases, document bugs, and work closely with our development team to resolve issues efficiently
• Frontend Testing: You'll focus primarily on testing our ReactJS-based frontend, ensuring functionality, usability, and visual consistency
• Test Automation: Depending on your interest and skills, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to test automation using tools like Cypress
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: You'll work with developers, customer success managers, and consultants to understand requirements and set up our testing procedures
• Continuous Improvement: You'll help identify areas for process optimization and contribute ideas to improve our testing workflows

Requirements

What we're looking for:

• Enrolled bachelor or master student in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Media Informatics, or a related field
• Basic understanding of software development processes and how frontend and backend components interact
• Interest in software quality assurance and testing methodologies
• Prior experience in testing (manual or automated) is desirable but not required
• Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, ReactJS) is a plus
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in an agile environment
• Good communication skills and a team-player mentality
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
